Aca Concert 2008

Yep it’s the end of the Culture month. KR Aca put a well-deserved fullstop on this mad month of performances with our in-house concert. This year’s concert was held in the KR Dance studio, a small and cosy space. The concert also featured the debut of our 2nd-semester additions, Meisi and Lin (Yes, that Lin).

Some highlights of this year’s concert:

Lin in the starring role as “Beng. Ah Beng”.

Original songs such as our National Day Songs Medley (below) and Techno Medley.

Classic favourites from Singapore’s own Budak Pantai like “Abuden” (below), “The moon dai biao wo de heart” and “Wo shi zhen de”.

And many more! Including “Internet Porn” and “Enormous Penis” by Da Vinci’s notebook, “O Holy Night” by N’Sync and “Ain’t no Sunshine”.

Many thanks to those who came down and squeezed into the dance studio to support us! For those who couldn’t make it down, there’s always next year!

Anyway, it’s time for all of us to buckle down and start preparing for exams. The next event that we’ll be involved in is the National A Cappella Championships this coming July – come and give us your support as we’ll probably be fielding a few teams!
